There’s been a stirring discussion brewing among my small circle of friends about the differences between men and boys and women and girls.
And from what I’ve discovered, people still want implicitly to identify with “gender roles” of the not-so distant past- where women were “demure” and much more muted sexually (publicly anyway), while men were like Paul Bunyan- brave, burly and brawn.
Some of my male friends have an unyielding thirst for a feminine woman. A kind and gentle woman, who will love him, who will love raising a family, and will love being married.
And from what I’ve seen, marriage (not always the family part) is what many people still aspire to. They still see themselves settling down with the perfect person- the one they will ultimately spend the rest of their life with.
I’ll quote my good friend Jim, in that he said “there are too many overbearing women and too many effeminate men”. This hits home like a Herculean earthquake because it’s very true.
You’ve got today’s sexually “powerful” women who leave nothing to the imagination as far as raunchy clothing, seducing men at bars during cocktail hour in the men’s room, who LOVE sex more than life itself and are “liberated” by their own sexuality.
Then you’ve got today’s men, who are tired and apathetic, and who are convinced they’re not allowed to be men anymore because women have robbed them of their ability to be men. Why do they need to run out, hunt, chase and conquer when women have assumed all of it for themselves?
Then again, who am I to “put women and men back into the gender roles” of yesteryear? After all, I’m just a very happily married wife, mother and educated woman who’s able to take care of my family, while I get to write and publish articles like the one you’re reading right now.
The difference between girls and women:
A girl will run a man down, chase him, and think that doing so will make the man fall in love.
A woman knows that shit doesn’t work and waits for the man to do something RIGHT. And if he doesn’t, there’s certain to be another one out there 10x better who will.
I was the little girl before. I had men rather, THEY HAD ME to depend on. They could count on me to always be there to make phone calls at the same time everyday, to make them feel good about themselves when they needed an ego boost (after all, what man doesn’t get an ego boost from a 21-year old girl chasing him around like a desperate puppy), and to give them some ass when it was convenient for them and they could squeeze it into their schedule.
NEVER DID IT HAPPEN WHEN IT WAS COMPLETELY CONVENIENT AND OKAY WITH ME. The truth is, when you’re a girl, sex is never convenient. Instead, it’s a nuisance BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT FEELS SEX LIKE WHEN IT’S 100% REAL, RIGHT AND RESPECTFUL- when your souls, including that of the man you’re with, are in it together.
Now that I’m a woman, I simply don’t have the conscience, the time or the will to wait on, wait around for, or wait hiding in the background for any man. Not even my husband. Why? BECAUSE MY NEEDS COME FIRST. If the man I’m with doesn’t understand that, I DON’T NEED HIM.
A girl will give it up to any guy in the hopes that doing so will get the guy to like her and commit.
A woman gives it up to a guy BECAUSE SHE LIKES HIM AND HE IS COMMITTED.
Girls often don’t have sex for themselves. They have sex with the boy who is pressuring her, who’s already getting sex from other girls, and they have sex with the boy who treats her indifferently- that is the one who treats her like shit because he’s a “bad boy” and it turns her on.
How is it logical that you should “reward” someone for being twisted and wrong? Well, IT’S COMPLETELY LOGICAL FOR GIRLS.
A woman, on the other hand, has sex with a man WHEN SHE IS READY, WHEN IT FEELS RIGHT FOR HER, AND WHEN SHE KNOWS THE MAN IS THE KIND OF MAN SHE WANTS. She makes no accommodations, doesn’t lower her standards, and doesn’t put giving up the ass above her own principles. EVER.
A girl will cry, play manipulative games, blow up cell phones and ask the dude every 5 minutes what he’s thinking.
A woman isn’t going to cry, play games, call/chase/wait or look foolish and ask what you’re thinking because she doesn’t give a shit. She’s too busy and too preoccupied with her own ambitions and desires to even care.
Girls love to idolize men and make them the center of their universe. They love to sit around and fantasize about being cast in the perfect fairy tale light among the middle pages of a romance novel, getting the dude whipped with desperate plays of “I thought that you loved me” and “we could be together forever and live happily ever after if I just learn how to get him to do what I want by being sentimental, acting like his mother, and caring more about him than I care about myself”.
A woman knows that MEN ARE JUST LIKE ANYBODY ELSE and should be TREATED JUST LIKE ANYBODY ELSE. That is, if they shit on us, they’re out, if they treat us with respect, they get our respect in return. Most of all, they know that playing games of the baby variety is what desperate little girls do when they have no love, esteem or self-preservation, especially when it matters- like in cutting people off when the relationship is a disaster, when the dude is treating us like shit, or when the relationship doesn’t meet our expectations.
If a man can’t provide a woman with what she needs, SHE WILL NOT HESITATE TO DUMP HIM AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE WHO WILL. It’s not about the man, IT’S ABOUT HER.
A girl thinks that showing off her body, giving good head and sleeping around with dudes is the way to get any man she wants.
A woman knows that showing off her body, giving good head and sleeping around is guaranteed to get her every man EXCEPT the man she really wants.
Anybody can sleep with anybody. People get together and do it all the time. And they forget each other’s names, faces, and the whole experience as though it was like dropping your suit off at the cleaners or rinsing off that bag of grapes after getting them home from the grocer.
And girls love to show off their bodies and have sex with everybody thinking they’re setting themselves apart from the whole of a hotbed skank society. Sure they can have any man they want because a lot of men will sleep with just about anything that has the tits and the required moist hole, and THEY OFTEN ATTRACT THE MEN WHO DO JUST THAT, MEN WHO WILL SLEEP AROUND WITH ANYTHING.
A woman doesn’t want every man to want her. SHE WANTS ONE MAN- THE ONE THAT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR HER AND DESERVES HER IN HIS LIFE. A woman needs only one man to do the job, not 300 who don’t even qualify for it.
